Ipl Hair RemovalThis is the gold standard treatment for unsightly spider leg veins.

IPL - Permanent Hair Reduction

Hair RemovalWhy live with unwanted hair?

The Intense Pulsed Light System offers a safe, long-term solution. The treatment works by light being absorbed by Melanin, which is the pigment in the hair follicle. It destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cells.

All areas of the body and face are suitable for treatment. Most skin types can be treated, although the best results are often achieved with clients who have fair skin and dark hair. The required number of treatments varies, but typically 6 or more are needed, 4 to 8 weeks apart.

Consultation and test patch £30, 15 minute treatment £95, 30 minute treatment £180

Pigment Removal

Sun & Age Spot RemovalPigmented lesions such as age or sun spots can be successfully lightened and removed with laser or Intense Pulsed Light.

The treatment is non-invasive and is suitable for both the face and body. The pigmented areas have a high concentration of Melanin, which the filtered light from the IPL targets, causing the areas to darken initially before they fade and then flake away. The number of treatments will depend on the type and size of the pigmented area, but typically 1 to 3 sessions are required at 4-6 week intervals.

Consultation and test patch £30, 15 minute treatment £95

Red Vein Removal

Red Veins Treatment IPL can be used to remove thread veins on the face, body and legs.

Most red skin lesions, including facial thread veins, rosacea, spider naevi and port wine stains are treated with Intense Pulsed Light, where as leg veins are often treated by sclerotherapy.

The treatment works by light being absorbed by the blood vessels, heating them to a point where they are destroyed and re-absorbed by the body. Usually 2 to 4 treatments are needed for maximum results, although small lesions may clear in just a single session.

Consultation and test patch £30, 15 minute treatment £95.

Acne Treatments

Acne TreatmentAcne can be treated effectively with Intense Pulsed Light, which is sometimes used also in conjunction with other clinical treatments, such as medical skin peels.

The light treatment directly targets over active sebaceous glands in order to lessen inflammation and reduce the occurrence of break-outs. Redness or acne scarring is particularly successful with IPL alone. The medial skin peels in combination with IPL will deeply exfoliate and treat problem areas and give a general improvement to the entire area of skin treated. These treatments are individually tailored and a treatment plan is made at the time of consultation.

Consultation and test patch £30, 15 minute treatment £95

Skin Rejuvenation

Skin RejuvinationAs skin ages it becomes thinner and less elastic because collagen and elastin, the tissues that keep the skin firm, become weaker. These changes lead to fine lines, sagging skin, and other unwanted signs of aging.

Intense Pulsed Light offers a solution for visible signs of ageing such as fine lines and uneven skin texture by filtering light that stimulates the fibroblast cells in the skin that produce collagen and elastin. The skin becomes firmer, appears more radiant and then large pores are reduced. These treatments can be combined with a course of medical skin peels. 6 treatments are recommended, 2 to 3 weeks apart, with a top of session once or twice a year to maintain the best result.

3 x peels £60 each, 3 x peel and IPL together £150 each, Course prepaid £580

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo RemovalLasers work by producing short pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment.

This laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to fragment into smaller particles that are then removed by the body's immune system. Researchers have determined which wavelengths of light to use and how to deliver the laser's output to best remove tattoo ink. (If you're wondering if the laser might also remove normal skin pigment, don't worry. The laser selectively targets the pigment of the tattoo without damaging the surrounding skin.)

Consultation and test patch £30, Treatment price dependant on tattoo size.

Individually Tailored Medical Skin Peels

Skin PeelChemical peel" is a general classification for a number of chemical treatments used to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin.

Typically during a chemical peel nothing actually "peels" off. A chemical solution is applied to the skin, and works by dissolving the upper layers of the skin. As the tissue is dissolved, a wound is created on the skin which stimulates the body's healing response, causing new tissue to emerge. The depth and strength of the 'peel' varies based upon the strength of the chemicals used and the length of time the solution is applied.
